Donald Trump: Russian asset Krasnov |
The threat is coming from within.
Donald Trump has been a Russian agent since 1987, at the very least. This according to former KGB agent Alnur Mussayev. Mussayev is the former head of Kazakhstan's National Security Committee and served in the 6th Directorate of the KGB.
One of Mussayev's primary roles was recruiting wealthy and influential businessmen from capitalist countries. That is when the Soviet KGB first came into contact with then 40-year-old real estate mogul Donald Trump:
"In 1987, our directorate recruited Donald Trump under the pseudonym Krasnov."
It is established fact that Trump visited Russia in 1987, with dreams of building a Trump Plaza hotel in Moscow. The trip was reportedly arranged by the Soviets, who facilitated the entire thing with the plan of turning Trump red. It is noteworthy that immediately upon his return to the States, Trump took out a full-page New York Times ad attacking the United States and NATO allies. He was so inspired by whatever occurred in Russia, that he was moved to spend $100,000 of his own money to do so.

A recent report highlighted that as early as 1985, Russian KGB officers were given secret documents on key Western personalities such as Trump. According to former KGB intelligence, the documents instructed agents to "target prominent figures in the West," with the sole purpose of "drawing them into some form of collaboration with us [Russia]....as an agent, or confidential or special or unofficial contact."
The actual documents exposing Trump might prove difficult to find. According to Mussayev,
"Today, the personal file of resident Krasnov has been removed from the FSB. It is being privately managed by one of Vladimir Putin's close associates."
Manchurian Candidate
Could Vladimir Putin have struck gold in making Trump a Russian asset, an investment that would lead all the way to the White House? It would be difficult to imagine a United States President doing more to act in Russia's favor. Since taking office, Trump has weakened the government, even going as far as firing air traffic control operators while planes fall from the sky and leaving America's nuclear arsenal unguarded. Trump and billionaire crony Elon Musk have both dedicated their time in office to dismantling America's social safety net, while simultaneously weakening democratic norms and ushering in a constitutional crisis.
In the latest example of history repeating itself, it's 1987 all over again. Instead of targeting Vladimir Putin, Trump has set his eyes on America's NATO allies, threatening them with tariffs that seek to cripple the economy both at home and abroad. As far as Ukraine, Trump was quick to parrot Russia's talking points, calling Zelensky a dictator and despite being invaded by Russia, placed blame solely on Ukraine's proverbial shoulders. Trump even went as far as to demand Ukraine cease its land to Russia, all while giving the entirety of its precious assets to the United States.
Russian in the White House
Former Trump communication director Anthony Scaramucci said of Trump and his relationship with Putin,
"There is a mysterious hold on the president. I don't know why it's like this. McMaster couldn't figure it out, Mattis couldn't figure it out, Kelly couldn't figure it out."
Others in previous Trump administration have contended that Putin likely has some form of blackmail on the President.
There is no doubt that Russia has attempted to interfere on Trump's behalf both in the 2016 and 2024 election. Former President Jimmy Carter even contended that if the 2016 election were ever truly investigated, officials would find that it was rigged in Trump's favor. In 2024, dozens of bomb threats were made to polling places in heavily democratic areas. The threats, which hindered turnout in one of the closest elections in history, were found to have originated from none other than Russia.
What we do know is that there was a time Trump was in dire straits. With his business' failing, he once told his daughter Ivanka that they were broke. Facing destitution, Trump turned to Russia for support and oligarchs like Vladimir Putin were quick to come to his aid. There was Tevfik Arif and Felix Slater, both with ties to the Russian mafia, and both huge investors in Trump. Then there were the overseas investment groups and banks that had ties to the Kremlin and Russian money launderers linked directly to Vladimir Putin. All were key Trump investors.
Even Donald Trump, Jr. admitted,
"Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of our assetts. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia."
In 2018, Trump's long-time architect, Alan Lapidus claimed,
"He could not get anybody in the United States to lend him anything. It was all coming out of Russia. His involvement with Russia was deeper than he has acknowledged."
All of this led to the Mueller Report which indeed showed Russian collusion with the Trump campaign, but was largely covered up by then attorney general Bill Barr and a billionaire owned corporate media friendly to Trump. Cover-up aside, it was all too little too late. By then, Trump was already president and through the mass manipulation of Russian propaganda had a vice grip on half the American electorate.
The Threat is Coming from Within
One of the most ardent Trump detractors has been General Mark Milley. Milley has long been a vocal critic of the president, calling him a "wannabe dictator." In response, Trump removed Milley's White House portrait and suggested the general should be "put to death." Perhaps Trump wants Milley out of the way because in his wealth of experience, Milley knows what a danger the president is to the country he has dedicated his life to. Milley has claimed that Trump is a "total fascist to the core." Of the president, Milley has said,
"He is now the most dangerous person to this country."
Those words should haunt an American electorate that was too fixated on what the Elon Musk's and Joe Rogan's were telling them to actually pay any attention to the threat American democracy is facing from the Russian led MAGA movement. One thing Trump has said goes without dispute. It is evident that a Russian asset attacks America from within the confines of the White House. As Trump has said, "The threat is coming from within."
