Declaration of War: Russians Behind Havana Syndrome

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is directly responsible for 'Havana Syndrome' attacks on high-ranking U.S. officials.

More than 200 of America's top military and intelligent agents have been struck by the mysterious Havana Syndrome, which for many leaves behind permanent physical damage. For years, scientists debated whether Havana Syndrome was real at all and if so, what the possible cause could be. American intelligence has gathered information that conclusively proves Havana Syndrom does indeed exist. We now also know who's behind the attacks and it's a familiar hostile foe.

Greg Edgreen, recently retired Army Lt. Colonel and the man in charge of the Pentagon's official Havana Syndrome investigation, believes the United States is under attack. When asked by whom, the former director of the defense intelligence agency answered conclusively, "Russia." According to Edgreen,

We were collecting a large body of data ranging from signals intelligence, human intelligence, open-source reporting, anything regarding the internet, travel records, financial records, you name it. Unfortunately, I can't get into specifics based on the classification, but I can tell you at a very early stage, I started to focus on Moscow.

Edgreen began to notice some familiar patterns with the attacks and the fact that these were happening to top officers, top military officials, and very well respected people in high positions of American government including the FBI, CIA, and their families:

One of the things I started to notice was the caliber of our officer that was being impacted. This wasn't happening to our worst or our middle range officers. This was happening to our top 5-10% performing officers across the Defense Intelligence Agency.

As concerning as Edgreen's findings were, there was more. Those being targeted had something else in common:

Consistently there was a Russia nexus. There was some angle where they had worked against Russia, focused on Russia and done extremely well.

The impact of such attacks are severe, effecting American national security at the highest levels and most permanent fasshion. According to Edgreen,

The impact has been that the intelligence officers and our diplomats working abroad are being removed from their posts with traumatic brain injuries. They're being neutralized.

Russian investigative reporter Christo Grozev was the first to uncover the existence of Russia's elite military unit 29155. Grozev has uncovered that the mysterious top-secret group is directly responsible for these attacks on U.S. officials,

These are people who are trained to be versatile assassins and sabotage operators. They're trained in counter surveillance. They're trained in explosives. They're trained at using poison and technology equipment to actually inflict pain or damage to the targets.

Grozev, who has a long history of uncovering Russian plots and documents, believes he has found a document linking the elusive 29155 group to a mysterious energy weapon likely used to target Russian opposition, "When I saw it, I literally had tears in my eyes because it spelled out what they had been doing." The document Grozev found was a financial accounting which showed an elite officer received a bonus for work on, "potential capabilities of non-lethal acoustic weapons." It confirmed Grozev's suspicions and worst fears,

It told us that this particular unit had been engaged with somewhere, somehow, empirical tests of a directed energy unit. It's the closest to a receipt you can have for this.

Unit 29155 was confirmed to be present in Tblisi, Georgia when the wife of a justice department with direct involvement with the Tblisi embassy came under attack. A nurse with a PhD, she remembers being in her laundry room when suddenly she came under the attack of a loud and crippling sound,

As I'm reaching into the dryer, I am completely consumed by a piercing sound that I can only describe as when you listen to a movie and the main character is also consumed by the sound after a bomb goes off. That is similar to the sound that I heard and it just pierced my ears - came in my left side, felt like it came through the window into my left ear. I immediately felt fullness in my head and just a piercing headache. When I realized I needed to get out of the laundry room, I left the room and went into our bedroom next door and projectile vomited in our bathroom.

After the incident, she looked on her security camera. The camera picked up a vehicle outside of her front gate, one she had never seen before. She went outside and saw someone near the vehicle. The woman later identified the person she had seen as Albert Averyanov. Averyanoff isn't only a member of Unit 29155, but the son of commander Major General Vladimirovich Averyanoff. Since he was a young boy, Albert has been groomed to one day take command of the group.

The woman is still severely affected by Havana Syndrome,

My headaches and brain fog continue. Later on into that weekend, I started having trouble walking down the stairs specifically at night. I had trouble finding the steps to get down the stairs, so my coordination and vestibular system started really falling apart.

After being medically evacuated from Tblisi, doctors now say she has holes in her inner ear canals, the vestibular system that creates the sense of balance. She received two surgeries to have metal plates inserted into her skull and another surgery is imminent.

It is now being reported that a similar event happened to a senior Department of Defense official at last year's NATO Summit, as it has to over 200 American officials in the highest rankings of the United States Military, the FBI, and CIA. Before two reported attacks on United States officials and their families, U.S. intelligence intercepted a Russian phone call nearby. In the phone call, Russians can be heard speaking, "Is it supposed to have a blinking green light?" and "Should I leave it on all night?" The attacks on U.S. intelligence happened the very next day.

An FBI agent was hit twice by Havana Syndrome, each incident one year apart and in two different states, Florida and California:

It felt like I was stuck in this state of disorientation - not able to function. What is happening? My whole body was pulsing. We're dealing with energy weapons. Look how effective it's been. It's next generation weaponry and unfortunately it's been refined on some of us. We're the test subjects.

The FBI agent was working on a case involving Russian infiltration into the United States and in particular the following. In 2020, Florida police were led on a fifteen mile high speed chase near Key West. Once the car was stopped only by highway spikes, police found bank records and a device that could remove information from the car's memory, including GPS locations. There was also a Russian passport. The driver was Russian intelligence officer Vitalii Kovalev from Saint Petersburg, Russia. Without incident, Kovalev served 30 months in prison and was released in 2022. Kovalev ignored the FBI's warnings not to return to Russia and died fighting in Ukraine, but Christo Grozev suspects foul play, "One theory is that he was sent there in order to be disposed of."

Russians have not only targeted U.S. officials through Havana Syndrome, an invisible weapon used to cause permanent brain damage to top United States officials. That's only the very tip of a deadly and dangerous iceberg. There is much more beneath the surface.

At the behest of Russian asset Donald Trump, Russians directly interfered in the 2016 United States election, waging a massive psyop to divide the American electorate by propaganda that was mass propagated through social media outlets like Facebook and X. In 2022, Russia invaded United States ally Ukraine and has since terrorized the country, targeting and murdering civilians. Russia is funding many American politicians on the far right and far left of the political spectrum, including Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, who despite a 1994 agreement to disarm and in turn protect Ukraine, refuses to take up a vote to provide the country with necessary funding. Russia has sabotaged NATO at every turn and despite warnings from President Biden, Putin had chief political rival Alexey Navalny murdered in a Russian prison camp without any significant reprisal.

At what point will the United States take Russia seriously as a significant threat and acknowledge that each of these is an act of war? Christo Grozev believes that in Putin's mind, Havana Syndrome and his ability to attack high ranking American officials without consequence is his biggest victory over the West.

This brings us back to Edgreen, who believes that in both the Biden and Trump administrations the bar for proof was set impossibly high, making it almost impossible to carry out a thorough and unimpeded investigation into the Russians:

I think it was set so high because we did not as a country and a government want to face some very hard truths. Can we secure America? Are these massive counter intelligence failures? Can we protect American soil and our people on American soil? Are we being attacked and if we're being attacked, is that an act of war?

Attorney, Mark Zaid, who represents more than two dozen clients suffering from Havana Syndrome, believes that there is a government cover up,

There is, in my view, without a doubt, evidence of a cover up. Now some of that cover-up is not necessarily, 'Oh, we found a weapon and we don't want anybody to know about it.' What I've seen more so is we see lines of inquiry that would take us potentially to answers we don't want to have to deal with, so we're not going to explore any of those avenues.

Despite the American government's reluctance to fully investigate and hold Russia accountable for its hostile actions, Edgreen sums it up best in the following, "If my mother saw what I saw, she would say,

                 'It's the Russians stupid.'
