While the world watches in horrifying complacency, Russia continues its genocide of the Ukrainian people, this time deliberately bombing a children's hospital in Ukraine. At least 21 are reported dead after a barrage of missiles hit the city early Monday. Kiev's Okhmatdyt Children's hospital took a direct hit, as did other residential homes in the area.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared the following,

"Russian terrorists have once again launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. Different cities - Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Slovyansk, Kramatorsk. More than 40 missiles of various types. Apartment buildings, infrastructure, and a children's hospital have been damaged. All services are engaged to rescue as many people as possible. And the entire world must use all its determination to finally put an end to the Russian strikes. Killing is what Putin brings. Only together can we bring peace and security."

Children, some receiving cancer treatments, are now stuck under the rubble of the Okhmadyt Children's Hospital, as citizens and rescue crews alike try desperately to save them. Doctors, covered in blood, have been seen running in and out of the building with children, as are frantic Ukrainian parents. A team of doctors were performing surgery on a child when the missile hit. Children receiving treatment via IV have been placed streetside as rescue efforts continue. All of these efforts are ongoing while the screams of wounded and dying children fill the air in Kiev.

Former Ukrainian Advisor to Internal Affairs Ministor, Anton Gerashchenko expressed the anger shared by many in Ukraine and around the world,

"I'm furious! I'm a dad. There are sick children under the hospital rubble. Russians must be stopped, kicked out of the U.N. They're psychopaths who drop bombs in the center of Europe."

He continued,

"Deliberately performing a missile strike on a hospital with kids who have cancer. What kind of a sick bastard does that? This is not just "Putin." There are many people who planned that, gave the orders, prepared the missiles and aircraft, etc. They have completely lost their minds there. Sick children, children with cancer - can you imagine how this stress from explosions damages their health even further? I have also heard from several people that their pets died from the shock of explosions."

President Zelenskyy added,

"Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv. One of the most important CHILDREN's hospitals, not only in Ukraine, but also in Europe. Okhmatdyt has been saving and restoring the health of thousands of children. Now that the hospital has been damaged by a Russian strike, there are people under the rubble, and the exact number of casualties is still unknown. Right now everyone is helping to clear the rubble - doctors and ordinary people. Russia cannot claim ignorance of where its missiles are flying and must be held accountable for all its crimes. Against people, against children, against humanity in general. It is very important that the world does not remain silent about this now, and that everyone sees what Russia is and what Russia is doing."

This comes at a time when the United States is set to make significant announcements about Ukrainian aid ahead of tomorrow's NATO Summit, which President Joe Biden will be attending. It is also noteworthy that presidential candidate Donald Trump has admitted to once again collaborating with Russia, claiming to have a deal in place to end the war, if he is elected president. As reported here, that "plan" includes giving Russia everything it wants when it comes to its neighboring country.  Trump, long an admirer of Putin's, has made it clear to advisors that Ukraine isn't an independent state and must be made part of Russia.

The following are photos from today's Russian carnage in Ukraine:

Will this all be enough for college campus protests for Ukraine? Will the U.S. media return Ukraine to its front pages and news programming? Will Russia finally be exposed for the modern-day Nazi state that it is? Will the United Nations finally expel Russia? Will the Republican party cease its relationship with Russian asset Donald Trump and stop blocking the aid Ukraine so desperately needs? That's up to us, the people, and unless we demand the change we wish to see in the world, Russia will choose for us. One thing is abundantly clear, we must act now before it's too late, before a Russian asset sits in the White House, before Ukraine is handed to Russia, and before democracy falls in the United States.

We leave you with the words of Ambassador Jonatan Vseviov, Estonian Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,

"A permanent member of the UN Security Council [Russia] just bombed a children's hospital in Kiev. If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. History will remember."
