Aaron Rodgers Gives High Praise to Vladimir Putin

Aaron Rodgers regularly uses his platform to espouse Russian talking points and conspiracy theories.
Good Russian soldier Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers has now completed the full circle of conspiracy insanity by appearing on the Tucker Carlson show. Friend and protege of fellow wingnut Joe Rogan, it was a given that Rodgers would eventually appear alongside Russian propagandist Tucker Carlson and that has now come to fruition in embarrassing fashion.

For fans of Kremlin talking points, Rodgers did not disappoint, repeatedly espousing the regular easily disprovable vaccine conspiracy theories and twisted views of American history. Rodgers never misses an opportunity to criticize his own country, preferring Russia's sordid and perverted view of American history to the truth.

Rodgers also dropped this number, giving high praise to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, all while burying his own President Joe Biden,

"Putin came off as an interesting, thoughtful, smart individual. I was just like - you know, I'd love to see Joe Biden give an interview where he could speak on the history of the United States in the same way Putin talked about the history of his country."

Rodgers is referring to Putin's recent propaganda interview with Tucker Carlson, where the Russian dictator was allowed to give a lengthy false history of Russia that coincides with invading neighboring countries like Ukraine. Carlson never interrupted Putin to correct him. Instead, Carlson smiled fan-boy style, while letting the Russian dictator ramble with what was essentially a bed-time story devoid of any truth. For Rodgers, who often can't tell the difference between story time and fact, Putin's deep dive into fiction was impressive. Rodgers, now 14 years removed from his lone Super Bowl victory, was quick to defend Putin and Carlson on the Joe Rogan Show, referring to any criticism over the interview as a modern form of "McCarthyism."

Rodgers, who has become known more for his radicalized pro-Russian conspiracy theories, than his Hall of Fame football career, has a long-standing feud with President Biden. The notoriously think-skinned quarterback's feelings were hurt when Biden publicly decried Rodgers' now infamous vaccination status

"Tell that quarterback, he's gotta get the vaccine."

The remark was enough to draw Rodgers' ire against the man who has dedicated himself to a lifetime of public service,

"Joe Biden is the most popular president in history. Yeah, he's the best. I mean, there's no one better. He's best at talking. He's not a fan of mine, I don't think. Democrats gotta be thinking, 'How did we go from Barack Obama to this?'"

While Rodgers frequently criticizes the President's mental acuity, it is important to note that the Jets quarterback has shown a penchant for being publicly scientifically illiterate. Meanwhile, Biden has committed to science, leading America out of a pandemic that claimed more than 1 million American lives, while the quarterback nurses yet another injury.

Further, while Rodgers spends his time pondering and pontificating conspiracy theories, Biden is busy running the United States, and quite effectively judging by the low unemployment rate and record stock market.

While Rodgers wrote off his own family, Biden has consistently been a dedicated and loving family man. While President Biden has supported his troubled son Hunter through difficulties with addiction and depression, Rodgers won't even talk to his own mother, father, or siblings.

Rodgers never graduated from Cal, but did accept an honorary doctorate's degree, which has as much value as Putin's propaganda points or Rodgers' first season as a Jet. Biden, meanwhile, has an actual degree from the University of Delaware, as well as a law degree from Syracuse University.

There's no telling what Rodgers will say next, but it won't be good. It's clear that his algorithm is dominated by Kremlin produced propaganda that has, much like his preferred presidential candidate Robert Kennedy, Jr., given him some form of brain worms. Unless, of course, Russia has something on the Jets quarterback, which is entirely in the realm of possibility, given today's political climate. Either way, Rodgers, the oft-injured pseudo wellness expert, should be taken as seriously as Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, or his own play in NFC Championship games.
