Back The Blue, He Fooled You

 

Officer Donald Trump 

In a sordid attempt to score political points with Back the Blue supporters and those on the political right, Donald Trump decided to attend the wake slain NYPD officer Jonathan Diller. All this while Biden attended a political fundraiser alongside former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. Despite the fundraiser being scheduled well in advance, Trump, ever the opportunist didn't miss the opportunity to slam President Biden for missing Diller's wake. 

However, things didn't go as planned for the twice-impeached former president. Officer Brian Sicknick's family didn't take kindly to Trump's attempt to politicize Diller's wake and came out against the man responsible for the January 6th insurrection at the Capitol. Sicknick died of a stroke a day after Trump sent an angry mob to the Capitol to kidnap and assassinate his political opponents, in what was an illegal last-ditch effort to remain president for life. 

The family had the following to say about Trump, 

He makes sure he gets his face out there. The guy's a criminal. He's the reason my son is dead - because of the riot at the Capitol.  

Trump has also been on record calling the January 6th officers thugs and privately refers to them as weak, frequently resorting to calling them 'pussies.' So much for Back the Blue. In fact, it seems that the former president, who is facing over 90 inditements in court, is only for law and order when it benefits him politically and when it doesn't he is quick to throw police under the proverbial bus or quite literally under the feet of thousands of traitorous Nazi sympathizers. 

If elected, Trump has vowed to free the January 6th insurrectionists, referring to them as hostages instead of the vile criminals they are. Before his Hitleresque stump speeches, Trump leads the hateful bigots who flock to worship him in a rendition of the "Star Spangled Banner" complete with a video package depicting the suffering of the terrorists who attempted to overthrow the United States government on January 6th. There is no mention of the police whom they trampled, beat with American flags and tried to murder. 

After Diller's wake, Trump's sycophants began to spread yet another nefarious lie. They claimed Trump paid for the entire thing, but in actuality he did no such thing. In fact, he didn't contribute a cent. The organization Tunnel to Towers did so, but that didn't stop the Trump cronies from taking credit. 

In fact, MAGA claims to be pro-law & order, but fail to meet the occasion when it comes to actual law & order. For example, there is video of Trump crony, Lauren Loomer interrupting a prayer for a fallen Florida officer in October 2023. No one condemned her for it or spoke out. They didn't care, which would suggest that they don't actually give a fuck about the boys in blue or law & order unless it's politically expedient for them to do so. 

As far as the fundraiser President Biden attended, it should be noted that the President raised $25 million in a single day, more than any other presidential candidate in history. The $25 million is more than Donald Trump raised in all of February. Election Day 2024 is on Tuesday, November 5th.
